HOW I WORK
I know that sometimes things can get challenging, and I’m here to share the load with my students from day one.

From initial idea to statistical analysis, my approach is always to guide my students in a very personal way. I like to keep things simple and practical and just give my students the tools and confidence (and if necessary deadlines) they need to get the work done.

When it comes to statistics, I do not think every student should be able to do a statistical analysis and I can take that out of their hands. However, I always explain them what I did until they understand...

It all started with helping the girl down the street a few years ago. Gradually, through mouth-to-mouth advertising, I got students from Belgium to South-Africa. Counseling across the globe obviously only works with the help of digital technology, but I never loose my personal touch. And I never run out of coffee, that too.
ME
After getting two master degrees, one in bio-engineering and a second in economics, I started working as a supply chain consultant for a few years. Supply chain wasn't really my thing, but it taught me one very important thing: how to work efficiently.
Research called, and I changed carreer to work at the UGent for 10 years. Teaching classes, guiding students to their master's thesis, doing research myself and -very important- obtain a PhD.
Since 2016, I’ve been teaching statistics and research and helping students with their thesis. I found my calling.
